# TikTok LIVE Studio Widgets: How to Add Them Step by Step

By [Matías González (MattsinLife)](https://tikrift.com/en/author/matias-gonzalez/) · Live streaming content creator · Updated Oct 26, 2026

TikTok LIVE Studio lets you add web content to your scene as just another source. That means alerts, goals, leaderboards or a timer, no OBS required. Here's the step-by-step, the sizes worth using and how to avoid a cluttered screen.

## Widgets worth adding

- **Gift alerts:** on-screen pop-ups when a gift lands. More in the [gift alerts guide](/en/guides/tiktok-live-gift-alerts/).
- **Goals:** League (gift coins), Heart Me, Tap tap (likes) and Followers. See the [gift goal](/en/guides/tiktok-live-gift-goal/) and [like goal](/en/guides/tiktok-live-like-goal/) guides.
- **Top lists:** Top coins, likes or Combined top. See [top gifters](/en/guides/tiktok-live-top-gifters/).
- **Battles:** scoreboard and MVPs. See the [battle overlay guide](/en/guides/tiktok-live-battle-overlay/).
- **Timer:** for subathons. See the [subathon timer guide](/en/guides/tiktok-subathon-timer/).

## Step by step in TikTok LIVE Studio

1. Set up the widget in TikRift.
2. Click **"Copy URL"**. The URL is unique to your account (example only: `https://overlay.tikrift.com/t/d7Kq2mVx9LpR4sNw`). Don't share it.
3. In LIVE Studio, add a new source and choose the link option (labels can vary by language and version).
4. Paste the URL, then size and position it in your scene.
5. Keep TikRift open while you're live: the widgets are fed by the app.

## Reference sizes

- Most widgets: **500 × 400** as a starting point.
- **Best gift** and the combo leaderboard: 500 × 560.
- Full-screen effects (**Like fountain**, fireworks): 1080 × 1920, covering the whole vertical canvas.

To place things where comments won't cover them, see the [overlay size guide](/en/guides/tiktok-live-overlay-size/).

## One URL for the whole scene

Adding each widget separately works, but four or five sources get hard to manage. With **Dynamic LIVE** you build the full scene in TikRift (up to 12 elements, 2 scenes, with a TikTok safe-zone guide) and add it to LIVE Studio with **a single URL**.

## What about OBS?

OBS is the alternative if you'd rather stream with a stream key: add each URL as a **browser source**. Same widgets. If you're still figuring out how to stream from your computer, start with [how to go live on TikTok from PC](/en/guides/go-live-on-tiktok-from-pc/).
